Hi Tone Hearing Drawing and Painting Competition 2011
Hearing impaired children especially from the lower socio economic background are one of the marginalized sections of our society - the children talented in various aspects, yearn to be part of the mainstream. To encourage these children and to create an awareness about hearing loss among the general public,Hi Tone Hearing conducts an annual drawing and painting competition exclusively for the hearing impaired children. This competition was started in 2010 and received a tremendous response.
This year the competition was held on Thursday, the 11th of August 2011 at Little Flower Convent Hr Sec School For Deaf. Around 100 students from 7 schools for the hearing impaired children took part in this event. The competition was conducted in 3 categories: Sub Juniors (Std I to Std V), Juniors (Std VI to Std VIII), and Seniors (Std IX to Std XII).
There will be a prize distribution function on 25th August 2011 at the same venue.
